Alternative Art
“Alternative Art” unites the art of avant-garde, modernism, postmodernism, underground and non-conformism.
This movement is characterized by the freedom of self-expression of artists, their protest against the classic view of painting, norms and traditions, or even the government. Representatives of this movement were not afraid to go beyond the generally accepted framework, so their work was often banned, and artists were persecuted by the authorities. As a generation of experimenters, rebels and discoverers of the new, those artists gave a great impetus to the development of new trends of modern art.
Pieces of alternative art are a real find even for experienced collectors. Alternative art is the artist’s visual language, a mandatory dialog to which the artist encourages the viewer.
