Minko Oleg (1938-2013) is a Ukrainian artist and teacher, a representative of the Lviv art school. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1972), People's Artist of Ukraine (2009). He studied at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (department of artistic weaving, teachers: Roman Selskyi, Karlo Zvirynskyi). He worked as a master of the weaving workshop of the Lviv Art and Production Combine (1965) and headed it for 5 years. He worked as an artist in the monumental workshop of the Lviv Art and Production Combine (1971-1982). Senior teacher of the Department of Artistic Textiles of the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (since 1982).
