Viktor Romanovych Yefymenko (1952-2017) was a Ukrainian artist. He was born in Donetsk in the family of graphic artist Roman Fedorovych Yefymenko. He studied at the Crimean Art School named after M. Samokysh (1969-1975) at N. Morhun, F. Zakharov and Professor Sobol, and later at Morhun's studio in France. Yefymenko also learned painting from his father-in-law, the famous Crimean artist P. Stoliarenko. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1978). Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1992). He worked in Paris (1993-1997). Yefymenko's works were sold in the auction houses of Europe (France, Great Britain, Spain). He worked closely with the Gérard Gallery, the Netherlands (1997-2000). People's Artist of Ukraine (2012).
Novak Valentyna (born 1960) is a painter and theater artist. She was born in the village of Stare Selo, Sumy region. She graduated from the Faculty of Artistic Ceramics of the Myrhorod Ceramic College (1980), where she studied with S. Mysak. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1992). She worked as a props-decorator at the Sumy Regional Drama and Musical Comedy Theater named after M. Shchepkin (1981-1988); as a designer at the Novynka store (1988-1990); as the chief artist of the Sumy Regional Department of Trade (1990-1995); as an artist at the Sumy Regional Art Fund (1995-2001). Her main genres are landscapes and still lifes in the impressionistic manner. Participant of regional (since 2001), all-Ukrainian (since 1994), international (since 1991) art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions in Humenne (Slovakia, 1987), Sumy (1992, 1994), Kyiv (1998–2000).
