"MILESTONES" - BABAK Petro and Oleksandr
An exhibition about two Kyiv artists, father and son: Petro and Oleksandr Babakiv - "MILESTONES" at the National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery" with the support of the Goldens auction house. In the exposition of the exhibition, divided into eight milestones, the artist does not forget about his growing up, the progress to artistic mastery from children's sketches, which were checked by the first teacher of drawing - his own father, and to the works that decorate the walls of museums and galleries.
The works of the artist's father, Peter, are also exhibited at the exhibition. Oleksandr Babak intertwines different periods of life, reflects on memories, people, places he met along the way; aptly notes the spiral nature of time. Clearly calibrated cycles of creativity, markers close to the heart on the map, bright paintings and graphic sketches make up the structure of the exhibition and reflect the character of the artist and his works. And exhibiting the paintings of the artist's father really allows this exhibition to be called a "family" exhibition.
