Anna Augustivna Kruger-Prahova (1876-1962) was a Ukrainian artist and teacher. She was born in the village of Skviri, Kyiv region, in the family of the famous Kyiv notary August Fedorovych Kruger. Studied at Mykola Murashka's Kyiv School of Drawing (1890s); Academy of Delecluse in Paris (1899). She graduated from the Higher Art School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (1906), where she studied in the workshop of P. Kovalevskyi and F. Roubo. Her portrait with her son Volodymyr was painted by Oleksandr Murashko (1905). Mykola Prakhov's wife. She worked as a teacher at the Kyiv Art School (1912–1920). Together with M. Kozyk, she founded a plastic arts studio (1921). She taught at the Prakhovy art studio (1924–1933), Kyiv School of Applied Arts (1945–1946). Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (since 1936). Lived and worked in Kyiv.
