Olena Viktorivna Kulyk (b. 1979) was born on December 30 in Kyiv. Daughter of O. Skytsyuk, granddaughter of I. Skytsyuk and M. Tymchenko, heiress and follower of the artistic tradition of the work of the people's artist M. Tymchenko. Works in the field of decorative and applied arts, graphics and graphic design. Studied at the Kyiv Art and Industrial Technical College (1994-1999, Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk), Faculty of Fine Arts, obtained the qualification of a master artist; at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (1999-2005), faculty of fine and decorative and applied arts, qualified as a graphic artist in book design. Active participant of exhibitions (since 1992). Cooperates as a designer with publishing houses, public organizations (since 2005) and works creatively in various fine art techniques. Member of the youth section of the NSHU (2007). Leading designer at the carpet production company "A-style" (2007-2009). Member of NSMU (2009). Member of the NSHU (2010). The works are in the Zaporizhia Art Museum, the "Ukrainian House" museum in Kyiv, the Chernihiv Regional Art Museum named after G. Galagan and private collections in Ukraine and abroad (Germany, Canada, USA, etc.). He works with a group of painters on the murals of St. Michael's Cathedral in Zhytomyr (since 2015). Works with porcelain, creating paintings on porcelain products and sculpture from porcelain (since 2015). At the same time, he is working on the preservation and dissemination of the unique Petrykiv artistic heritage of M. Timchenko with the aim of creating an informational and advisory museum institution.
