Biography of the author
Fedir Prymachenko (1941-2008) is the Ukrainian artist, a master of decorative painting, the son of the artist Maria Prymachenko. Born in the village Bolotnia, Kyiv region. Fedir Prymachenko's works appeared at exhibitions, including international ones. He continued his mother's work, creating his own, more rational style. Laureate of the All-Union Festival of Amateur Art (1967). He was awarded a silver medal at the All-Union Exhibition of Amateur Artists. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1984), Honored Artist of Ukraine (1998), laureate of the award named after Kateryna Bilokur (2000), awarded with the Order of Merit III degree and the Honorary Award of the President of Ukraine (2001). The artist's works are kept in museums of Ukraine and private collections around the world.
