Feldman Valentyn (1864-1928) - was Ukrainian architect and artist. He studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts (1882-1889) at the architectural department, studied the technique of watercolor painting in M. Hoholynskyi,he studied works of L. Prematstsi. By 1910 worked as an architect in Kharkiv and Sevastopol, from 1910 - in Kiev. He taught at Kharkiv Technology (1905-1910), the Kyiv Polytechnic (1910-1922), architecture (1922-1924), art (1924-1928) institutes. Feldman - was an author of numerous watercolors. He also works on the theory of drawing and watercolor painting. Travelled Turkey and Egypt (1894), Italy (1914). Active member of the Society of Russian watercolorist (1880-1918), the Society of Kiev-Artists (1914-1919), a founding member of the Kiev Society of Artists (1916-1918). Each year, participated in exhibitions watercolor painting in St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa (1890). He painted Ukrainian still lifes and landscapes.
