Edita Medvetska-Lutak (1932-2019) is a Ukrainian and Hungarian artist of decorative and applied arts, painter, graphic artist. She was engaged in easel and monumental painting, graphics and tapestry. She was born in Mukachevo. Representative of the Transcarpathian school of fine arts. She studied at the Uzhhorod State Art and Industrial School (1947-1952) under A. Erdel and Y. Bokshaya. She graduated from the faculty of artistic textiles of the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1958), where she studied with D. Dovboshynskyi and V. Monastyrskyi). Participant of regional, all-Ukrainian, all-Union, foreign art exhibitions and plein airs (since 1968). Member of the SHU (since 1968). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1985). The artist's works were purchased by the Ministry of Culture and Art of Ukraine. Since 1991, she lived and worked in Hungary.
