Biography
Shalennyi Mykyta (born 1982) is a Ukrainian artist. Born in Dnipro. Graduated from the Dnipro State Academy of Construction and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture. He participated in a number of architectural competitions and art exhibitions of the Academy. He worked as a teacher at the Academy, as an architect. Winner in the "Public Prize" nomination of the PinchukArtCentre Award (2011). Works in the following genres: painting, video and installations. Participant of exhibitions: "With eyes wide open...", contemporary art gallery City-Art (2006); "Loneliness", art center "Kvartira" (Dnipro, 2011); Exhibition of 20 nominees of the PinchukArtCentre Award (2011). Personal exhibition "Lenin Gallery", (Zaporizhia, 2011). Curator of the group exhibition of street art "First there was a street" (2012). Lives and works in Dnipro.
