Biography

Malinka Viktor (born 1935) is a Ukrainian artist and teacher. He works in the fields of easel and book graphics, easel painting. He was born in Taganrog. He studied at the art studio of the Taganrog Pioneer House under V. Grigorieva (since 1948); Rostov Art School, Faculty of Painting, under I. Charskaya, E. Charsky (1952–1957); Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of Graphics, under V. Chebanyk, V. Kasiyan (1961–1967). He worked as an art editor at the Kyiv publishing house "Molod" (1966–1968), collaborated with book publishers in Ukraine. He taught at the Department of Painting at the Kyiv Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design (1996–2000). Member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine (since 1970).
