Biography

Lyudmila Meshkova (born 1938) - ceramic artist, graphic artist. Graduated from the Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute (1962). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1979). Author of wall ceramic compositions, tapestries, large wall ceramic panels for the interiors of the hotels "Kyiv" (1973) and "Rus" (1978–80), the Cinema House (1974), the UNESCO building in Paris "Earth, send the fluids of life and prosperity to the worlds of the Universe" (1987); ceramic compositions, iconostases and portraits of Patriarchs Vazgen of Armenia, Demetrius of Constantinople, Ilia II of Georgia; P. Picasso, F. Mitterrand, M. Roerich, J. Philippe. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1987). Order of Princess Olga, 2nd (2013) and 1st (2025) degrees.
