Pavlo Volokydin (1877-1936) is a Ukrainian painter, a master of landscape, still life, and psychological portraiture. He studied at the Odesa Drawing School (today Odesa Art School, 1898-1905), the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts (1905-1906). Professor of the Odessa Art Institute (1922-1934). Among his students are Hryhoriy Minsky, Tamara Khitrova, Vsevolod Tsimpakov, Oleksandr Chemysov. Professor of the Kyiv Art Institute (1934-1936). Participant of numerous group and personal exhibitions. The artist's works are kept in museums of Ukraine and private collections in Europe.
